Hiya Friend
It’s so nice to see that you have made it over to my little place in cyber-space. I do hope you will make yourself at home and be a frequent visitor.
Some of you know me, but for those of you who don’t; I’m Hanneica from the beautiful mountains of Wales. I’m very much married to the Big Guy- like for 32 years - and we have a 27-year-old daughter who lives in Durban, sunny South Africa, where we originally came from. We moved over to the UK more than 5 years ago now.
I have been very much into the computer world since the big boom in the early 1980’s and have been doing digital graphics for about 10 years or more now. I started out with Corel Draw way back then and, having progressed through a number of reputed programs. More recently, about 2½ years back thanks to my online friends, I found PSP [Paint Shop Pro], which I can confidently say is the most user friendly digital graphics program there is. I love it! Since I changed over to PSP I have progressed so far with my art, and like so many others, I’m completely addicted.
Enough about me; let’s talk about my Digital Arts and Crafts. A couple of years ago I doubt I’d have got so hooked but then I became ill. After a long struggle with not knowing what was wrong with me, at the beginning of this year it was found that I have an autoimmune disorder that affects my muscles, especially those of the eyes and eye lids. Because of this from time to time my vision is affected when things are really bad, but to cut a long story short, what it boils down to is that the condition has rendered me unemployable; I tire too easily and can't commit myself to an 8 hour day, or even a 5 hour day for that matter.
Now I’ve lead a pretty hectic life and I’m not the sort to be tied down, or to surrender, or lie down and die. A month or more back, the Big Guy pestered me into developing a website and doing something through the Internet - after all it will keep me busy was his thinking. Upon discussion, I agreed, provided he accepted that it would be pertaining to something I was passionate about ----- and so Hanneica’s Digital Arts and Crafts was born.
If you have had a chance to go through the pages of the site you will probably have noticed that it is not completed as yet; it's very much a work in progress. I expect it to be so for sometime and I’ll be adding to the pages as I go along, developing the ideas that make this so exciting for me. If what you are looking for is not yet up and running, please bear with me. I hope to have most things sorted soon, and if you have any ideas of things I might add or that you’d like to see here, please don’t hesitate to contact me; my email address is at the end of most pages – just drop me a line. Or, of course, you could add something to my Guest Book - I'd love to hear from you.
So my sweet friend, make yourself at home. What ever you are into in digital graphics, I’m sure you will find something here to interest you. Check out my scrap booking stuff, my tutorials and my stationery, but most of all, have fun.
Hugs and Bright Blessings
Hanneica
